All Aboard!

Next stop, Maplewood!

When I first moved to the east coast from California, I lived in Manhattan but soon realized that Manhattan was one,  too expensive.  Two, that there was the huge discrepancy in cost vs. space.
After just one year of big city living, the decision was made to move to New Jersey.

I was pleasantly surprised that New Jersey was quite beautiful and that there were story-like villages, I thought only existed in books and movies.  It was nice to discover that New Jersey was not just a bunch of wasteland and factories, which was was my impression when first landing in Newark.  What I also was pleased about was that I could live in New Jersey and get into Manhattan in 30 minutes or less from Maplewood, the quaint little town I chose to live in.  The Midtown Direct line on the NJ Railway was close, easy to manage and quick!  Commuting to and from Penn Station was a breeze.  I could go into Manhattan for the hustle and bustle,  but feel good knowing that my peaceful home was only a 30 minute train ride away.  The best of both worlds.  


It is now almost ten years since I made the choice to move to Maplewood, New Jersey and why I am delighted to help others, like myself, make that transition.  Midtown Direct living is great!
